Job Description

Data and Analytics professionals define strategies, develop and deliver solutions that enable the collection, processing and management of information from one or more sources, and facilitate the subsequent delivery of information to audiences in support of key business processes.


Data Privacy professionals develop deep next generation Analytics skills to support Accenture's data and analytics agendas, including skills such as Machine Led Compliance, Modern Data Supply-chain, Data Modeling, Data Veracity, Business Intelligence, and Data Management.


A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Utilizes existing methods and procedures to create designs within the proposed solution to solve business problems.
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
  • Uses considerable judgment to identify solutions and seeks guidance on complex problems.
  • Contributes to design of solution, executes development of design and seeks guidance on complex technical challenges where necessary.
  • Participates in primary upward interaction with a direct supervisor.
  • Interacts with peers, client counterparts and/or management levels within Accenture.
  • Understands methods and procedures on new assignments and executes deliverables with guidance as needed.
  • Interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
  • Employs decisions that often impact the team her or she resides on.
  • Assists in leading small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
  • Communicates effectively and can build rapport with both team members and clients.

Basic Qualifications


  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Data Security
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on technical experience implementing Data Protection and Privacy solutions in a dynamic multi-vendor processing environment
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with delivering Data Protection and Privacy programs that include; discovery, assessment, remediation, mitigation, and monitoring
  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required

Preferred Qualifications


  • Information Technology or Information Security Certification
  • Full life cycle development experience
  • Web design or programming experience
  • Experience with delivering Big Data Solutions in the cloud with AWS or Azure
  • An understanding of GDPR, CCPA, HIPPA and Data Breach Notification Laws
  • Understanding of DPRA and DPMS
  • Awareness of and experience with data discovery technology and solutions
  • Awareness of DPP global market, laws, regulations and solutions
  • Project Management skills
  • A deep understanding of systems integration and support

  • This role requires 100% travel flexibility to travel and work onsite with clients (typically Monday - Thursday)
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with senior client executives
