Job Description
 
Security professionals develop and deliver solutions that protect enterprise systems, applications and data by establishing policies, practices and tools that prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification or disruption. The Technology and Operations team works to standardize the management of Information Security processes and technology across all of Accenture’s organizations and implementation and reporting of centralized technology security tools and control. As a Summer Analyst in Information Security your daily responsibilities will vary by project, but you can expect to:  
  • Contribute to a global network of talented IT consultants across the business, enabling high-performance by creating and delivering Accenture’s business applications and technology infrastructure.
  • Collaborate and innovate to connect our people with the technology they need to build market relevant skills and be impactful to the business.
  • Assist in development and testing of new business processes, capabilities, and, as appropriate, their supporting technologies

Your Experience: Basic Qualifications
Accenture Analysts are forward-thinking, well-rounded people with a record of outstanding academic performance and high learning agility. We’re looking for individuals who can work in an open and entrepreneurial way.
  • Current student pursuing a Bachelors degree in a relevant subject area with an expected graduation date between December 2019 and August 2020
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred Majors:
    • Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar Engineering degree
    • Information Assurance
    • Information Security / Cyber Security
    • Management Information Systems / Information Technology
Preferred Skills
  • High-level knowledge of laws related to computer intrusions and data privacy requirements
  • Programming skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL
  • IT Security Architecture
  • Design-focused
  • Data Privacy
  • Windows 2000 – Windows 7
  • Windows Server through current
  • Understanding of data networking and computer hardware 
  • Ability to manipulate and present data using MS Excel and Power Point
Job Requirements
  • Must complete 10-12 week summer analyst program in Chicago office (typically begin in late-May/early-June and end in early/mid-August)
