Technology Architecture professionals sell, assess, define, implement and/or support world-class information technology architectures, for Accenture or our clients, spanning simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level change programs.


Job Description

Oracle professionals design, implement and deploy Oracle solutions to achieve defined business goals. Maintain skills in Oracle applications process design and configuration; Oracle application design, development, integration, testing and deployment; and Oracle application technical architecture.

Tech Arch professionals develop and architect Oracle application solutions and implements Oracle core technology products, including application extensions, interfaces, reports, conversions and development, execution and operations architecture components.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.
  • Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
  • Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility. 
    Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert to strategically define how data will be archived, stored and reported for auditing request from different businesses.
  • Review and integrate all archival requirements including functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operations and infra requirements.
  • Define the data requirements and structure for the applications. Model and design the application data structure, storage and integration.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years in IBM Optim and Veritas EV.
  • Minimum of 7 years working with all the Databases and the legacy system (As400 and Lotus Notes DB)
  • Knowledge of Data Migration (Oracle, MSSQL server , Postgres SQL, and other RDBMS)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years or 6 years plus an Associate’s Degree)

It is currently our objective to assign our people to work near where they live.  However, given the nature of our business and our need to serve clients, our employees must be able to travel when needed. This role requires 100% flexibility to travel and work onsite with clients (typically Monday through Thursday).

  • Desire to work in an information systems environment 
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
