Program Specialist Services professionals provide project-based support services within centers. These professionals support the delivery and execution of our key projects with specialized services.information to the provider community as well as internal external stakeholders.

 

The key responsibilities for the Provider Relations Representative - Houston role are as follows: 

  • Conduct face to face scheduled and unscheduled visits within the provider community.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Medicaid program and policy, online provider resources, internal processes and technological applications.
  • Provide on demand education regarding policy procedural information to the provider community as well as internal external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and conduct trainings for newly enrolled and established providers.
  • Research provider claims and Medicaid policy.
  • Documentation of all provider external stakeholder communications.
  • Independent management of local territory by utilizing internal job aids and resources.
  • Meet all contractual obligations while establishing and maintaining positive interpersonal relations among stakeholders.
  • Develop interpersonal relationships with peers and workgroups while working remotely.
  • Participate in team training and workgroups in addition to individual territory responsibilities.

Special Job Requirements: 

  • In home Remote worker. Minimum of 75% travel.
  • Must own a vehicle.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Training, Education, or public relations.
  • Minimum of 2 year of administrative experience in a healthcare and/or Medicaid experience.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2016 Suite
  • Bachelor's degree
