JOB DESCRIPTION:

Accenture is making substantial investments to continue its leadership position in the emerging digital business ecosystem as companies pivot to the “New IT”. A key part of this investment lies in designing systems based on Microservices Architecture to help our clients improve agility and speed to market by leveraging modern tools, techniques, and technology to deliver Cloud Native solutions.   

 

Accenture’s Cloud Native Engineering Team is composed of Full Stack Engineers focused on Microservices and 12 factor applications born for the cloud. Our Engineers work with our clients to design and deliver systems for complex custom projects using the latest Open Source technologies to build applications that transcend today’s digital world. The successful candidate will have deep experience in Microservice frameworks as well as deep experience with creating Cloud Native applications through all phases of the software development lifecycle across several Cloud providers include AWS, Azure, and GCP as well as common management platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Cloud Foundry.

Ability to travel up to 100% is required


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of development/architecture experience
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience with one of more of the following: Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, or Play/Akka

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cloud Native Platforms including Kubernetes, Open Shift, Docker Enterprise, or Cloud Foundry 
  • Consulting/client serving experience 
  • Microservices, Actor/Reactor, or other Cloud Native experience  
  • Development experience in Java and/or Scala 
  • Installation, configuration and development including work within a production environment 
  • Experience in web-scale applications
  • This role requires 100% flexibility to travel and work on-site with clients

 

Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
