Job Description

 

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Serve as client account lead for Accenture Development Partnerships USAID-funded program portfolio. Responsible for developing, qualifying and closing deal opportunities with leading INGO partners, implementers, corporate partnerships and bilateral/multilateral donors spanning strategy, management consulting, digital, and technology.
  • Provides solutions to complex problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational and program objectives.
  • Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
  • Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
  • Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.  Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.
  • Manages teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with international development sector clients preferably with either large INGOs, private foundations, private sector implementers, bilateral/multilateral donors, and governments
  • Minimum of 3 years external consulting firm experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of USAID sales and business development experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Digital Technologies and/or Innovation

  • Executive level presence and influence with USAID partners and implementers.
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Entrepreneurial skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Highly motivated, individually driven, organized and ability to manage a large pipeline and active project portfolio
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
