Job Description
 
As part of the global Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT – Tier 3), investigate security incidents that may negatively impact Accenture, including hacking attempts, intrusions, virus infections and other security threats.
 
Participate in the authoring of Accenture’s Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) contents, assist in large incidents and investigations and collaborate with the Threat Hunting team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze potential network security incidents to identify security breaches.
  • Investigate security breaches and make qualified decisions and recommendations for corrective action.
  • Operate endpoint security and the SIEM solutions.
  • Interface with other teams and organizations as necessary.
  • Assist in larger security incidents and more complex investigations.
  • Collaborate with the Threat Hunting team.
  • Manage security infrastructure
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience or certifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Technical support, networking or security roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: In course or advanced studies in Computer Sciences, Systems Engineering or related careers
  • IT Security certification like GCIA, GCIH, GCIA, GREM, CEH, CISSP.
  • Understanding of computer operating systems, including server operating systems (Windows & Linux)
  • Security analysis skills, including ability to analyze logs to detect required information and patterns
  • Understanding of network protocols & architecture
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR and intrusion detection solutions
  • Experience in incident response or in security operational roles
  • Programming and scripting skills
