Legal and Commercial Services professionals deliver and coordinate legal, contract and commercial advice and counsel in support of Accenture's or our clients' business, working to manage and mitigate risk and ensure ethical behavior and compliance with laws and company policies. 
 

Job Description

 

Provides program management and other operational and substantive support for Accenture’s global ethics programs, such as the Code of Business Ethics, required ethics and compliance curriculum planning and course development, policies initiatives, personal conflicts of interest management, and communications and awareness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

General:

 

  • Work with Ethics Programs lead and/or leadership to manage projects and programs which are strategic to achieving desired business outcomes
  • Create and manage work plans, deliverables, budgets, due dates, key dependencies, in order to ensure program objectives are being met
  • Manage to project or program objectives, goals and action plans used to drive the program to completion 
  • Execute limited operational program assessments to identify inefficiencies in an effort to improve systems and procedures
  • Provide recommendations for improving program structure and/or delivery 
  • Provide insight and input into required business case definition and project objectives
  • Manage a portion of the design and implementation of various programs or initiatives
  • Identify change management implications related to project or program impacts  
  • Provide consistent reporting on program status to ensure all stakeholders are informed

Specific:

 

Code of Business Ethics

 

  • Manage changes and updates to existing content
  • Program manage initiatives to innovate the Code of Business Ethics

Policies

  • Assist in the development, drafting, and rationalization of company policies
  • Program management of policy-related initiatives
Communications
  • Assist in planning and drafting communication plans and individual communications related to Ethics & Compliance and related initiatives
Required Ethics & Compliance Training
  • Manage the annual curriculum development process and work with HR Learning & Talent Development and Accenture Learning organizations on the development and rollout of annual training
  • Program management of efforts to continuously improve and innovate Ethics & Compliance training
  • Assist in development and program management of flagship annual Ethics training course
Operations
  • Develop and manage to Ethics Programs budgets
  • Support regular reporting against internal controls

Relationships:

 

Reports to: Director of Legal Services, Ethics Programs

Supervises: None

Internal Relationships: Legal (Corporate Investigations, Employment Law, Corporate Matters, etc.), HR, Accenture Learning, Procurement

  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree 
    • Minimum of 5+ years of Project Management experience
    • Minimum of 3 years assisting in the management of corporate ethics and compliance programs for a large organization (experience in policies oversight and drafting is a plus)
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Business and technical background
    • Experience managing multiple small to medium projects and initiatives
    • Experience in program management and budget management
    • Experience in change management principles and approaches
    • Experience assisting in the management of corporate ethics and compliance programs for a large organization
    • Understanding of process design concepts and methodologies
    • Program management skills
    • Analytical skills; collects and researches project data
    • Understanding of data analytics and predictive behavior
    • Basic finance and operating model knowledge
    • Excellent writing and editing skills
    • Excellent oral and written communications and presentation skills
    • Very proficient in Excel and PPT along with other MS tools
    Professional Skills:
    • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
    • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
