Management Consulting professionals design and implement process and change interventions that integrate strategy, technology and people to enable process improvements that create value for clients.  The Management Consulting Senior Manager designs and implements business changes that drive industry-specific, function and digital operating model transformation, focusing on task relating to people and process.


Job Description:

CFO/Enterprise Value professionals develop and maintain robust processes and controls to meet compliance requirements and stewardship of enterprise assets with efficiency and effectiveness.  Focus will include work on core financial transactions, financial planning and analysis, and/or working with financial process related technologies.

 

The CFO/EV Senior Manager will be focused on leading an offering or industry specialty in the Finance and Performance Management practice. This will include writing industry specific points of view, leading the development of the practice across talent and go-to-market capabilities. The Senior Manager will be expected to help solution and sell complex finance transformations and related analytic solutions

 

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals
  • Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach
  • Has some latitude in decision-making
  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments

Basic Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of Consulting or related industry experience
  • Minimum of 8 years with one or more of the following:
    • Knowledge of core finance transactions: general ledger/general accounting, revenue cycle, procure-to-pay, planning budgeting and forecasting
    • Financial planning and analysis:  budgeting, planning, forecasting, and/or data analytics
    • Niche financial Knowledge:  grants management, project accounting, asset accounting, cost accounting, treasury, and tax
    • Development of value cases and roadmaps for transformation projects
  • Experience leading large teams; client interaction/management
  • Ability to meet travel requirements when applicable
  • Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Skills:
  • Financial knowledge in grant and provider/payer cost accounting
  • Zero based budgeting
  • Process related technologies:
    • Process Automation AI, RPA, Robotics
    • Finance Technology Core:  Oracle Cloud, Workday, Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP/S4
 Professional Skill Requirements: 
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
