Accenture is looking for a hands-on creative to join the San Francisco-based Extended Reality (SFXR) team. You may feel at home in this role if you have previous experience as a game designer and possess strong narrative skills paired with enough development experience to create your own prototypes. Job duties include helping define best UX approaches, driving a consistent vision for design and look-and-feel, and executing on design vision to provide client value. An ideal candidate would also have rigor with user research.

Basic Qualifications

  • Four-year design-based degree or equivalent engineering degree (BFA / BS).
  • Minimum 2 years immersive design and narrative experience.
  • Strong ability to present your ideas both verbally and on paper.
    • Strong storytelling and narrative building skills.
    • Good visual design and drawing skills.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Able to “distill-down” your ideas to clients, other creative team members, engineers, et. al.
  • Proficient in an industry-standard game engine (e.g. Unity3D or Unreal).
    • Able to achieve an end-to-end playable experience on your own.
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
    • Able to give constructive feedback.
    • Actively seeks constructive feedback.
    • Openly sharing of ideas.
  • Familiarity with 2D and 3D graphics and animation packages (e.g. Maya, Photoshop, Substance).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in XR (assisted, augmented, and virtual reality).
  • Iterative design and rapid prototyping experience (storyboards, playable prototypes, props, etc.)
    • 3D Printing, Micro Controllers
  • Strong list of shipped titles for various platforms.
