People in the Sales career track grow pipeline and sales by supporting, managing or leading the origination and/or closing of sales opportunities in a specific area or across a range of Accenture offerings. They progress by deepening sales skills and/or developing new related skills, growing into more complex sales roles, laterally, upward, or in their current role.
 
Sales Enablement professionals support sales on a dedicated basis, through deal origination, sales negotiations and closure, and/or driving and managing programs to improve sales performance, efficiencies and outcomes.
 
Job Description
 
Product and Platform Commercial Director professionals demonstrate the ability to apply deep expertise in bringing together Accenture s best of breed delivery practices in order to drive repeatable, industralised and high quality solutioning and delivery. This covers the key components of the Accenture Delivery Suite that consolidates our proven methodology, estimators, tools, skills and global delivery approaches.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Support Bid Management  
  • Support the development of the required artifacts for APP internal approvals as input to the NBM process and to ensure the deal complies with required internal controls.  More specifically high-risk elements related to: non-standard commercial structures, Professional Services “high risk delivery”, commitment to future releases of products not yet in Generally Available status or modifications to a current release strategy.
  • Review key elements of RFI’s and RFP’s that relate to APP products and platforms terms &conditions, pricing, sample license agreements, etc.
Support (and sometimes lead) Deal Negotiation
  • Support the development and execution of the negotiation strategy with the Negotiator or Sales Lead for Accenture’s deals for the product/platform specific elements.
  • Support the development of contract materials (e.g. Master Service Agreement, Contract Schedules, Statements of Work etc.)

Support Deal Shaping
 
  • Support the Deal Shaper to develop a winnable value proposition and set of commercials for the product/platforms.
  • Support and assist with product/platform positioning, key contracting terms/conditions, deal shaping and financial structuring, including pricing strategies and/or contracting elements.
Support Profitable Sales Growth as a member of an opportunity deal team
  • Assist with sales campaign strategy to develop winning, compelling, and compliant win strategies and proposals.
  • Execute developed capture tactics, competitive analysis, and teaming strategies that balance program risk and reward.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience Complex Solution Sales Deals 
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience Consulting  
    Minimum of 8+ years of experience with execution of the negotiation strategy with the Negotiator or Sales Lead
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Sciences, and or related field related work experience can be substituted for educational requirement
