By leveraging Accenture capabilities, proven tools and methods our clients plan and execute programs of change in the areas of culture change, new system and process integration, workforce engagement, talent strategy, operating model, organizational design, employee experience, and merger integration.  This position is aligned within our Health and Public Service operating unit and will work with clients in the Health, Public Service, and Education industry areas.


Responsibilities of the Talent Organization Consulting Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Translates the strategic direction and business objectives established by clients into holistic change strategies.
  • Leverages Accenture’s methods, tools, and assets to design solutions for moderately complex organizational change challenges.
  • Collaborates with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters such as aligning on target business outcomes and approaches.
  • Confirms deliverables, resource needs, and work plans on new assignments with limited guidance from their Accenture supervisor.
  • Manages small to medium size teams and oversees team work activities to achieve milestones, quality deliverables and business outcomes.
  • Uses considerable judgment to drive day to day change activities while providing the appropriate levels of support and coaching for Accenture and/or client team members.
  • Effectively leverages their direct Accenture supervisor to help mitigate risks and resolve complex challenges before they become issues.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with clients and Accenture executives.
  • Understands stakeholder engagement, organization alignment, change planning, change measurement and communication requirements for a largescale transformation.
  • It is our intention for our people to work where they live. However, in the context of our profession and serving our clients there may be times when you will need to travel.
Job Description:

Lead a Change Management project for a higher education client undertaking a significant administrative transformation program.  Assist with Project Management tasks, including planning, reporting, and risk management.  Lead Change Management activities gathering and analyzing change impacts, communications, stakeholder engagement, and training.  Engage with business area leaders and project resources to coordinate change activities.  Provide subject matter advisory to the overall project team.  Collaborate across project workstreams to capture cross functional change impacts and develop and execute plans to manage the change.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of external consulting experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Change Management experience in one or more of the following areas: communications, stakeholder engagement, organizational design, training, business readiness, adoption change measurement, etc.
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience that includes project plan development and tracking
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience managing a virtual team
  • Largescale and/or global project experience
  • Organizational design experience
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team oriented environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication written and oral and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Experience supporting Change Management for a Shared Services implementation
  • Higher Education experience
  • Workday experience
  • Prosci Certification
  • Knowledge of Human Resources, Payroll, and Finance administrative processes
