Job Description
 
The Billing Lead has the responsibility for overall ownership of the development effort of the DCT Billing solution throughout the SDLC. This includes oversight and review of technical designs that meet the client’s business requirements, driving the development and configuration of components as they integrate with other parts of the software, support of defect fixes throughout the test phases, and support of implementation and maintenance activities.
 
The Billing Tech Lead has the following responsibilities:
 
  • Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements custom packaged software.
  • Integrates applications with backend databases, third party API’s and other Data sources.
  • Researches, tests, builds and coordinates the integration of new products and services per client requirements.
 
 
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

-Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
-Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
-Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
-Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
-Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Duck Creek Billing configuration.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in developing applications using .Net and SQL Server
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in XML/XSLT/XPATH
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in developing manuscripts, writing PL/SQL packages/functions
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands on technical experience with systems integration (Policy, Billing, third-party systems)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in designing and developing Duck Creek Rating
  • Experience in P&C Insurance industry
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Experience working on onsite offshore model
 
  • It is currently our objective to assign our people to work near where they live.  However, given the nature of our business and our need to serve clients, our employees must be able to travel when needed. This role requires 100% flexibility to travel and work onsite with clients (typically Monday through Thursday).
