Accenture Federal Services' Satellite Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and integrating all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operations requirements. The engineer will integrate the technical architecture requirements along with provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software and security.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited college or university is required
  • 5 years of satellite engineering experience supporting government and/or commercial satellite systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university is desired
  • Specialized experience working with DoD Satellite Systems preferred
  • Specialized experience should include: developing or reviewing satellite specifications and advising on acquisition planning; monitoring and managing satellite health, anomalies, and service life extension risks/opportunities; preparing and executing satellite verification, validation, and test plans
  • Experience with SmallSat or NanoSat systems is desirable


An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
