Accenture has been contracted to implement and run ongoing operations of an Ariba Buyer-based system, used by the client.  In addition to the procurement system, Accenture supports the program’s vendor portal and billing application.  The Application Developer is responsible for the support and maintenance of the applications. 
 
Specific responsibilities are as follows:
•            Shares responsibility for support and maintenance of SAP Ariba Buyer, Custom-Build Vendor Registration System, Custom-built informal quote tool, Oracle EBS, and Integration components.
•            Develops solution alternatives and impact analysis with Application Support Team Lead and Technical Team members to confirm priority and technical feasibility of proposed solutions
•            Designs, codes, and tests software modifications for assigned applications to address changes or fixes as necessary for problem resolution
•            Collaborates with the Production Support team to assist with ticket investigation and resolution
•            Interacts with clients, subcontractors, and users as required during daily activities
•            Independently prepares estimates of effort to develop and execute approved application changes in primary applications, prioritizes work assignments, and facilitates peer review of work products
•            Coordinates and participates in system, integration, performance and acceptance testing
•            Maintains shared responsibility for documentation updates to configuration records and the related configuration management tool to track application changes
Basic Qualifications:
•            Bachelor’s Degree
•            Minimum of 5 years Java programming experience
 
•            Experience with the following is desired:
•            Spring IO Framework
•            PL/SQL (Structured Query Language)
•            JavaScript/CSS
•            JHTML
•            Basic knowledge of web and Internet concepts, like HTTP
•            Understanding of application testing concepts and the application development lifecycle
•            Good communication skills, ability to translate technical concepts in clear language to less technical team members
 
Additional Preferred Skills:
•            Experience with Ariba a plus
•            Experience with Oracle EBS a plus
•            Java Certified programmer a plus
•            Experience with XML a plus
•            Experience coding in Agile framework a plus
•            Experience with JBoss or MuleSoft Middleware a plus
