Job Description

Finance Process and Operations professionals develop and maintain robust processes and controls to meet compliance requirements and stewardship of enterprise assets with efficiency and effectiveness.

 

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. 

Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems

Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance
Decisions often impact the team in which they reside
Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Finance and Accounting experience within Oil and Gas
  • A minimum of 3 years of consulting and/or leading process improvement projects
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or other closely related field of study

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to meet travel requirements, up to 100%
  • Consulting experience, preferably with a Big 4
  • Deep understanding of the Oil and Gas industry business processes

Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Prior sales experience developing responses to client proposals and participating in sales presentations to clients
  • Prior experience establishing and maintaining client relationships
  • Experience leading projects and large scale transformation programs
  • Direct experience delivering business improvements utilizing enabling technologies
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically to solve complex problems
  • Ability to interact effectively with client executives, vendors and third party providers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work in an information systems and technology driven environment
  • Desire to work with innovative and leading edge technologies
