The Appeals Billing Associate will perform research, enter data, and process health care appeals claims in a variety of systems and tracking tools for a US health care client, and will apply knowledge of processes and related systems to identify, asses and resolve complex appeals. The Appeals Billing Agent will encounter both standard and non-standard issues and will seek advice and escalate issues when faced with tasks outside the normal scope of the job. Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months experience working in the Health Insurance Payer industry, processing health claims
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year professional work experience
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Outsourcing operations experience
  • Knowledge and experience in any work stream of US health care
