The position will be for a resource to support the client’s development of cybersecurity strategy, technical standards, and implementation guidance. This role is to support and improve the effectiveness of the program by developing internal standards and processes, and help support products that met the client’s needs and objectives. Providing thought-provoking solutions is strongly encouraged. Resource will work closely with technical team members to ensure the business requirements are understood and correctly developed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective program communication strategies and execution plans using industry best practices and repeatable frameworks
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and implementation design
  • Interact with both business and technical colleagues to facilitate development and testing
  • Maintain data privacy and protection standard throughout project lifecycles including determining data protection techniques
  • Communicate comprehensive security and privacy recommendations to project managers and stakeholders across the contract
  • Provide cyber security analyses and management support services, including executive presence journey mapping using design thinking


Basic Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience providing internal/external consulting services to management and technical staff in solving complex information security issues to include working knowledge of FISMA, Cyber Security Framework, GDPR
  • 1 year of experience creating/updating cyber program policy documents, strategies, and plans
  • 1 year of experience in change management with C-Suite and Senior Executives 
  • US Citizenship required

Additional Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience driving efficiencies and reduce duplicative efforts through business process engineering with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience identifying and communicating potential risks and issues that would have substantial program impact
  • Experience developing technical strategies and roadmaps adhering to federal regulations and guidelines
  • Practical knowledge of security management processes including, but not limited to, risk management, security planning, IT security control implementation, testing, and logical access controls
  • Practical knowledge of federal IT security laws, regulations, and processes
  • Proven ability to meet schedule and performance requirements for IT security projects with competing priorities 

 

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
