Building an effective working relationship with the executives who lead the Software and Platforms and related CMT practices in Accenture so your early days will involve many meetings and lots of networking. As you become more familiar with the organization you can expect to start work on one or more projects. There is no typical day or project at Accenture Research but you might start by working on an analysis of one of our clients or leveraging primary research data on consumer behavior or possibly enhancing a market model designed to identify the global market opportunity within the industry.
Over time you will find a varied project load develops and that you may be working on between two and four projects at any given time, of different durations and scope. You’ll build a good working relationship with the other CMT researchers worldwide. A dynamic, proactive researcher will find many opportunities to learn and grow at Accenture. The next promotion step is to Specialist (“Consultant” equivalent), where you would be expected to begin owning entire projects from initial sale to completion. There will be times when you work very hard but we put life/work balance very high on our agenda. In addition, as part of a global team, we seek to maintain flexibility in our work style.
