The Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness mission includes establishing and sustaining an audit ready posture, transitioning to an environment to sustain auditability, and achieving an audit support infrastructure within a major federal department. The Business Advisory Associate Manager will serve as project lead of a large team to assist with day to day team operations, administrative and organizational structure, resource skills development, and general project oversight.  The resource will be required to oversee and support multiple workstreams with different team leads and clients simultaneously.

Major responsibilities include the following: 
  • Oversee multiple workstreams and team leads from an organizational and administrative capacity, including providing ground level oversight for each
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to teams based on client needs and FIAR program requirements
  • Develop and maintain project POAMs and monthly and weekly status reports

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or other relevant business field
  • 7 years of experience working with accounting, auditing, audit readiness, or related field for federal clients
  • 5 years of experience managing teams in a client-facing consulting environment

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP or CPA
  • Strong ability to mentor others at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional conversational and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to spread time across multiple workstreams with various team leads and multiple client POCs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment 

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
