  • Explain, discuss, and justify technology decisions effectively, in addition to giving effective feedback and direction to other team members.

  • Assess performance and provide career guidance and performance decisions for the project team.
  • Contribute to the hiring strategy for Technology, lead interviews, and provide feedback to prospective candidates.
  • Assume responsibility of the overall quality of work at the project level.
  • Lead projects using the most appropriate development methods and practices.
  • Oversee all technology activities and deliverables on projects.
  • Eloquently articulate and explain complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Establish and manage client and account relationships for successful project outcomes.
  • Present Fjord's offering to potential clients.

Working together, we will:

  • Have specific opportunities to use our craft to make a difference in people’s lives.
  • Engage in ongoing activities that enable us to learn, practice, and evolve our discipline.
  • Collaborate on products and services that change the way our clients do business.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience and experience working at a design agency or firm

  • Knowledge of and curiosity about design and its impact on technical solutions.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams to create a powerful, effective, and coherent technical solution.
  • Excellent leadership skills, problem resolution abilities, and good judgment.

We believe Technology Leadership should empower technology teams, providing guidance, provoking thought, and removing barriers so that all members can reach their full potential. In doing so, our technology leaders inspire teams, clients, and users to push beyond boundaries and achieve our shared goals.
