The Inside Sales Team Lead will lead a team of Sales Specialists on our Inside Sales team that works with Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) to adopt advertising solutions on our client’s platform. They will work closely with the program’s Service Delivery Lead to ensure client expectations are met and client-facing deliverables are created. 
 
The team is looking for a people oriented Inside Sales Team Lead to guide, mentor and inspire an incredible team of Sales Specialists within a digital marketing environment. This role involves coaching and developing a team that takes pride in creating delightful customer experiences through focused sales pitches and account management in a fun and enriching work environment. In addition to leading a sales team, this role will be challenged with developing programs to scale our client’s operations, and grow the client’s revenues by delivering a world class customer sales experience.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Manage a high performing team of Sales Specialists
  • Manage KPIs, ensure deliverables are exceeded and revenue is achieved
  • Identify barriers and to improve productivity and success
  • Develop, coach, and manage your sales team to ensure operational excellence
  • Assist with work assignments and information between shifts. May include adjusting work hours as necessary to meet deadlines, e.g., overtime, evening and weekend hours
  • Focus, motivate and inspire the team in a goal and results oriented way by driving optimum individual and team performance to deliver against agreed KPIs and targets
  • Conduct 1:1’s with team members to assess performance against objectives
  • Carry out phone and email evaluations on a weekly basis to ensure consistency and adherence to all program requirements and best practices in customer engagement
  • Provide leadership, support, and development to members of the team and build on the strengths of the team members that drive optimum performance
  • Oversee and manage the day to day operation and workflow of the team in an organized and efficient manner
  • Create a learning environment to ensure that the transfer of knowledge and insight occurs
  • Act as a point of referral for complex and escalated queries
  • Ensure that all client KPI targets are met, including aspects of Performance Management, People Management, Transition Management, Recruitment, Quality Management, Policy communication etc.
 Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in tele sales, inside sales or account management role for a high tech company
  • Minimum 1 year of digital marketing experience
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior management experience overseeing and developing sales teams
  • Experience recruiting and hiring candidates for a high performance sales team
  • Demonstrated experience forecasting new sales opportunities, setting goals, and monitoring sales activity
  • Salesforce.com experience or comparable sales force automation tool
  • Strong knowledge of technology social media channels
  • Ability to identify and lead service improvement initiatives
  • Experience in handling escalations from both external clients and internal sales and support organizations within a contact center queue based environment as a plus
  • Experience developing, measuring, and documenting improved efficiencies in workflow and system processes
 
Professional Qualifications
  • Ability to develop effective business relationships with all levels of internal and external management
  • Must possess strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to clearly identify goals, communicate vision for the team, and then deliver results
  • Excellent customer service
