Job Description 
As a UX/UI designer, you will create engaging and interactive experiences for clients built using Pega and other emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics automation, and mixed reality. You will apply modern and cutting edge user interface design principals to help solve complex business problems across multiple industries. Your excellent eye for design combined with your creative mind will constantly bring the latest web, mobile, and desktop design trends into the Pega practice. Responsibilities include User Experience journey mapping, User Interface design, User Research, Wireframing and Prototyping.
Typical Day Snapshot – User Experience Designer
Each client project we engage is unique, and UX Designers will need to adapt their design methodology to suit specific client and project needs. The work will require a keen balance of both end-user and stakeholder needs and require the UX Designer to: 
  • Apply conceptual thinking to create world-class digital services across Software as a Service Platforms, smartly bringing together user needs, business goals and technical realities.
  • Develop sound UX concepts, including the definition of customer needs, task analysis, and the creation of personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flows and use cases.
  • Translate concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity.
  • Create instant tangibility for the team and the client through storytelling and rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to digital prototyping.
  • Define the User Interface Design through information architecture, wireframes and user flows and validate it through usability testing.
  • Create light weighed specifications and style guides to supplement prototypes for our implementation partners.
  • Work directly with customers and prospects to design end-to-end experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques including observational studies customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insights, learn about user behavior and verify design concepts.
  • Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.
  • Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes other designers, program management, business and brand strategists, and hardware and software developers.
  • Collaborate effectively with remote team members, including designers, researchers engineering, product management, marketing and others.
This role is based in Boston, MA 
This role has a 50% travel commitment
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of interactive and/or visual design experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Shareable portfolio
  • Visual Design Software such as Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experienced with wireframing/prototyping tools like InVision
  • Experience designing for iOS/Android specifications for mobile and tablet
  • Enterprise / SAAS application design (PegaSystems experience is preferred)
