Business Process Specialization professionals apply expertise in a specific business process delivery capability (or capabilities) to ensure services are delivered in a manner consistent with our Standard Delivery Solutions and Service Level Agreements and drive continuous improvement.
The Human Resource Senior Analyst will ensure timely, accurate processing of all leaves of absence FMLA, Short Term, Long Term, Military, and more, some of which are complex in nature , claim responses, and appeals, in accordance with client policy and applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Determines if the employee is eligible for the leave, calculate duration of leave and monitor activity during leave to ensure employee does not exceed allowed time and is also is responsible for managing accommodations
  • Coordinates leaves concurrent with disability and workers compensation benefits, engaging other stakeholders as appropriate including benefits and legal staff
  • Interacts with colleagues, vendors, management, and physician offices to ensure all appropriate information is obtained and documented in compliance with federal regulations and the policies
  • Assesses and resolves complex investigatory employee relations cases that require client facing time, while ensuring consistency and efficiency for the customer
  • Develops a strategy for handling each case identification of parties to include in the investigation, create and gather documentation, making the determination and implementing resolutions
  • Single point of contact for the service requestor to ensure clear communication with regard to resolution of the request
  • Understands geographical region policy differentiations and manages specific districts
  • Identifies, assesses and resolves complex cases that have been assigned to them by a centralized employee relations case worker, utilizing the tools and processes set forth
  • Seeks advice and escalates issues when appropriate
  • Ensures timely conflict resolution, decision making acumen and attention to detail, as well as a solid working knowledge of the applicable regulations, including the Family Medical Leave Act, workers compensation, and ADA.


Basic Qualifications: 
  • High School or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Employee Relations case work (Grievances and Performance)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Absence Management case work


Preferred Skills:  
  • Experience with direct client interaction
  • Experience with workflow management tool
