Job Description:
Focus will include work on core financial transactions, financial planning and analysis, and/or working with financial process related technologies.  A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. 
    Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor; May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance
  • Decisions often impact the team in which they reside
  • Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of experience with one or more of the following: Knowledge of core finance transactions: general ledger/general accounting, revenue cycle, procure-to-pay, planning budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial planning and analysis:  budgeting, planning, forecasting, and/or data analytics
  • Niche financial Knowledge:  grants management, project accounting, asset accounting, cost accounting, treasury, and tax
  • Development of value cases and roadmaps for transformation projects
  • Ability to meet travel requirements when applicable
  • Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Skills:
  • Financial knowledge in grant and provider/payer cost accounting
  • Zero based budgeting
  • Process related technologies:
    • Process Automation AI, RPA, Robotics
    • Finance Technology Core:  Oracle Cloud, Workday, Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP/S4
Professional Skill Requirements: 
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
