Application Development Associate Manager (Multiple Positions)


Application Development Associate Manager (Multiple Positions) (Accenture LLP; Arlington, VA): Develop, design, and maintain software products or systems to enable client strategies. Analyze, design, build, and test new components or enhancements to existing module. Analyze and solve moderately complex problems. Design and code applications to functional and technical programming standards. Develop system specifications and interfaces for moderately complex components. Create operational documentation for the application. Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production. Maintain applications according to SLAs. Develop and implement testing plans. Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll-outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications. Understand strategic direction set by senior management and implement methods and procedures set by management. Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.


Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.


Of the required experience, 3 years of experience must be in each of the following: End-to-end consumption process, promotions engine, redemption engine, earnings engine, and partner integrations specific to hospitality industry; delivering SOA-based projects and maintaining code base/functionality; architecting new functionalities including integration with partners, social media and app based development, and developing estimates for all phases of SDLC for the new functionalities; performing software development using Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Struts; leveraging Service Oriented Architecture principles; programming in Java, JEE, JavaScript, Oracle APEX, PLSQL Programming, Shell Scripting, and SQL; Utilizing the following web technologies: JSON, HTML5, XML, XSLT, stylesheets, JQuery, Modern Web/Responsive UI, and JSP; and, utilizing J2EE, STRUTS, EJB 3.1, or Hibernate to design, implement, and maintain custom and proprietary applications.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
