Job Description:

Finance Process and Operations professionals develop and maintain robust processes and controls to meet compliance requirements and stewardship of enterprise assets with efficiency and effectiveness.

Finance Processes professionals evaluate, redesign, and implement back office processes to achieve operational efficiency by aligning people, processes and technology.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives
  • Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility
  • Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters
  • Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments
  • Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility
  • Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture

Responsibilities of the Senior Manager may include:

  • Focused on leading an offering or industry specialty in the Finance & Performance Management practice
  • Will include writing industry specific points of view, leading the development of the practice across talent and go-to-market capabilities
  • Expected to help solution and sell complex finance transformations and related analytic solutions
  • Ability to travel 100%

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of core finance transactions: general ledger/general accounting, revenue cycle, or procure-to-pay
  • Financial planning and analysis: budgeting, planning, forecasting, and/or data analytics
  • Niche financial Knowledge: grants management, project accounting, asset accounting, cost accounting, treasury, and tax
  • Bachelors degree
Preferred Experience:
  • Financial knowledge in grant and provider/payer cost accounting
  • Cloud Based ERP Implementation Experience
  • Process related technologies:  Process Automation AI, RPA, Robotics
  • Finance Technology Core: Oracle Cloud, Workday; Finance Technology Niche

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment 
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
