The Senior Performance Engineer with a future focused mindset will provide technical direction and strong hands on problem solving skills around software performance and tuning. Transform performance testing and tuning into a continuous and efficient end to end quality engineering function through the use of processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving performance, accuracy and quality. Evolve more predictive and intelligent performance testing approaches based on years of experience, best practices and innovative solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for the following Performance Tuning the ALIP software platform in all technical areas, including software performance, application server tuning, database tuning, and messaging optimization.

  • Work with client team members to understand and diagnose difficult performance issues and provide fixes and positive results
  • Build out and enhance the performance testing plan for the ALIP software base.
  • Manage the IDC performance testing team, whose responsibilities would include running routine client performance tests, debugging and resolving performance issues from the routine testing
  • Interface with clients to solve hot button performance issues at client sites
  • Function as a first responder for clients experiencing performance issues
  • Maintain and update any documentation pertaining to performance tuning and testing the ALIP platform.
  • Conduct project and issue management status reporting and issue reporting Client Travel as needed

Basic Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Lead or Senior Performance engineer and tuner in for complex software systems
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading an offshore team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or any related degree
