Portfolio & Delivery Management professionals plan, deliver and execute one or more projects and programs for Accenture or its clients, ensuring appropriate resources are mobilized and programs/projects/portfolios meet operational, contractual and economic commitments.
 
The Service Delivery Operations Sr. Manager has the following responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery and maintenance of class-store level forecasts  to support pre-season, in-season, new class and new store planning.
  • Manage operational component of service and deliverables
  • Direct offshore team activities and deliverables
  • Collaborate with Client’s Leadership to review SLA’s, service delivery, and team objectives
  • Guide the team to ensure timelines are met and business plans are incorporated into the forecasting process
  • Communicate with planning teams on issues, questions and strategies
  • Drive ongoing improvements to the forecasting capability
  • Lead additional strategic initiatives, special projects and feasibility studies for new opportunities across the planning organization
  • Identify, manage and resolve operational risks and issues for day to day activities
  • Educate other team members with new or current processes where risks or gaps are identified
  • Collaborate with IT and Business Process teams on system issues and enhancements
  • Attributes Retail industry demand forecasting experience in ERP tool
  • Collaborate with offshore support team and coach them in required areas.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3 years of experience in demand forecasting methodologies, algorithms, and parameters.
  • 8 years of experience in retail industry and end to end merchandise financial planning and location planning processes
  • 3 years of team management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with packaged forecasting software, particularly Oracle RDF
  • Experience managing a team across multiple locations
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis tools (R, SAS)
Other Professional Skills Requirements:
  • Skilled at communicating with & presenting to senior level executives
