Program Specialist Services professionals provide project-based support services within centers. These professionals support the delivery and execution of our key projects with specialized services.
 
Job Description
 
Directly coach and support projects in Optimize Eradicate and Automate work according to lean six sigma concepts and productivity improvement objectives. Responsible for running OPERA coaching work at project level in North America Region.
 
Program/Project Management professionals manage multiple, ongoing, interrelated projects to achieve a specific set of client business goals. Coordinate service levels and agreements and prioritize resources across projects and entities. Organize and manage resources and plans all work required to complete a discrete project within defined scope, quality, time and cost parameters.
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Adapts existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.

Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.

Uses own judgment to determines optimal solution to recommend.

Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or teams leads. Generally interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.

Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with minimal guidance.

Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams.

Manages medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
 

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of Service Management process and methodology experience
  • 3 years experience with service management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, BMC Remedy)
  • 3 years project management experience (teams of 5 or more preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years in project management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing teams of 5+, including offshore teams
Professional Skill Requirements
  • Proven management and delivery skills
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment 
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
