The Software Development Analyst is responsible for the technical design, coding and unit testing of software solutions for a variety of technology platforms in support of system maintenance or enhancement efforts. The Software Development Analyst has a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported by Client Service Teams. The Software Development Analyst reports to their Accenture Supervisor and Client Service Team Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical analysis, design, code and testing of software components.
  • Develop technical system specifications.
  • Participate in structured peer reviews / walkthroughs.
  • Create operational documentation for the SAP & Java applications.
  • Meet service commitments for assigned deliverables and proactively providing work status.
  • Provide input to assist in determining level of work effort for assigned activities.
  • Anticipating, identifying, tracking and resolving issues and risks affecting the applications.
  • Provide secondary support


Basic Qualifications:

  • US Citizen (no dual citizenship)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 6 months of experience with MS Office Suite
  • Must be local to Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg, PA
  • Coursework in computer programming concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to Systems Lifecycle Methodology
  • Prior IT Production Support experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Teamwork oriented
  • US Federal Government IT experience

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
