Job Description:
Accenture LLP seeks a Analytics/Data Science Senior Manager in Chicago, IL to conduct organizational studies and evaluations to develop business solutions applying Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Operations objectives. S/he will perform the following duties: use quantitative methods to derive actionable insights and outcomes of data; design, develop, and deploy data-driven predictive/descriptive models to solve business problems using technologies in statistical modeling and machine learning; create new insights from predictive statistical modeling activities that target and deliver value to the client; manage, architect, and analyze big data in order to build data driven business insights and high impact data models to generate significant business value; coordinate the project team perform inventory optimization, model design/re-design, supply chain network design and/or optimization efforts; guide and support new product development, documentation and communication; set strategic direction to establish near term project goals; create models and processes to collect, distill, and interpret data with a view to aid better, more informed decision making; design systems and procedures, and prepare operations and procedures manuals; and maintain communication with project stakeholders. The position is based out of the Accenture office in Chicago, IL, but travel to client sites is required up to 75% of the average work week. Telecommuting is permitted.

Basic Qualifications:

The position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration, Operations, or Mechanical/Industrial/Systems Engineering, plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in management or operations consulting, including the following professional experience: 5 years managing, architecting, and analyzing Big Data in order to build data driven business insights and high impact data models; 5 years developing statistical models to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to make business decisions; 5 years working with scripting languages for orchestration and data manipulation, including Python, Ruby, Perl, or Bash; and 5 years utilizing simulation and modeling tools for supply chain optimization and supply chain network design, including Llamasoft (IBM:LNP and IPFA) or CPLEX.
