This position is the Lead for the Counterintelligence & Insider Threat (CIIT) Program.  Reports directly to the Director of the CIIT Branch. The CIITP will oversee the counterintelligence (CI) and insider threats mitigation program, both from the inside and external resources and activities.  Responsible for monitoring and tracking insider threats, CI incident reporting, intelligence investigations, and CI awareness and training.  Support the Incident Response Team, accordingly.  Provide support and assistance to Operation & Analysis Group, the intelligence analytical process, provide continuous intelligence examinations / monitoring, and CIIT link analysis to corporate insider threats. 

Perform DoD/ICD/NISPOM required tasks, and administer applications used by the Security & Intelligence Directorate (S&ID), and assist in the long-term road map for S&ID.

        

Minimum Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • 4+ years experience a Senior CI/Intelligence Officer or Insider Threat Specialist

  • Credentialed Counterintelligence Agent (AF, Army, DIA, FBI) with Foreign Intelligence expertise

  • Certified in OFCO, surveillance and countersurveillance experience and CIIT Assessments                                        •

  • 4+ years national level experience in the IC

  • 4+ years experience in CIIT intelligence collection, activities and investigations

  • 4+ years experience and understanding of OPSEC, INFOSEC and DoD IC functional knowledge                  

  • 4+ years of All-Source Intelligence, Strategic Intelligence Planning and Link Analysis experience

  • 4+ years of experience with DoD/ICD, and NISPOM regulations/policies and requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in intelligence and CIIT training curriculum for DoD, writing capability statements, and providing analytical oversight on intelligence products

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Certified Investigator

  • Open source and classified intelligence systems experience (Micro Soft Office Products, AMHS, WISE, SAFE, M3, IAS, POTRICO, CRISSCROSS, IWS, CHATS, CHIMS, SIPR/JWICS, HOCNET, MIDB, NSTDS, PATHFINDER, TIBS/TRAP, TROJAN, Analyst’s Notebook, and PALENTIER)

  • MS Office (advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Military or DoD Special Agent in CI operations, and Offensive Foreign Collection for the Federal Government.

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
