The Application Designer will be responsible for the following:

  • Document as-is and to-be process and system flows
  • Incorporate results of data and transaction analysis to validate source systems, data formats, and transaction volume
  • Maintain integrated RTM to include changes needed to get from “as-is” to “to-be” state and changes for major interfaces 
  • Document BRDs and Functional Designs for customer application and interfaces (inbound/outbound)
  • Provide input to SCRs
  • Participate in regular drumbeats with system partners to design solutions/ COAs, coordinate design/development/test schedules, and update MOAs
  • Document end-to-end test scenarios and scripts and identify and stage test data (SIT, UAT) for customer and key interfacing systems
  • Identify training requirements (new/updated content)

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant business or technical field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with IT or systems modernization projects. Experience must include requirements gathering and analysis, process documentation, system design, and testing. 
  • US Citizenship is Required
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills working in a technical environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and cross-process teams
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
