People in the Sales career track grow pipeline and sales by supporting, managing or leading the origination and/or closing of sales opportunities in a specific area or across a range of Accenture offerings. They progress by deepening sales skills and/or developing new related skills, growing into more complex sales roles, laterally, upward, or in their current role.

 

Sales professionals drive the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations and closure.

 

 

Sales Execution professionals involve multiple activities like target the right clients, grow quality pipeline, win profitable deals and manage sales activities with the objective of creating mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships that create value.

 

Client Account Development professional represent individuals who are responsible for strengthening our client relationships and achieving sales growth through the introduction of innovative solutions that deliver client value. In addition, these individuals drive account planning, account-level sales processes, and collaborate across Accenture to bring the 'best of Accenture' to bear to meet client needs.

 

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:


Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.


Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.


Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.


Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.


Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.


Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

 

Job Description

 

 

Act as influencer and expert , building Accenture Application Services business across a client to drive high performance. Drive incremental sales on existing assigned accounts to include but not limited to testing, factory development, project control services or other Application Services businesses. Build and deepen relationships to expand work in new areas of the business helping their clients to see the possibility of the future through differentiated offerings and services.

Basic Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 4 years experience working with Salesforce in technology environment
  • Minimum 2 years Solution Architecture experience
  • Proposal creation experience
  • Minimum of 1 Salesforce.com certification
 
 Professional Skill Requirements
 
  •  Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment  
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment  
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills  Excellent leadership and management skills
