Job Description

 

The Compliance Senior Manager will lead, coordinate, support and monitor the delivery of services by Accenture Credit Services to ensure compliance with laws, rules and guidelines applicable to its residential mortgage lending and servicing offerings. Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Translating regulatory legal advice into operations and ensuring compliance with guidance.
  • Leadership and execution of the ACS and Mortgage Compliance as a Service compliance management system
  • Documentation and maintenance of baseline lending and loan servicing policies and procedures tied to credit, quality, and compliance.
  • Operational integration of repeatable quality and compliance monitoring controls to monitor compliance against regulatory, investor, and process requirements yielding a reportable format illustrating performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Design remediation approaches to drive improvement actions and results.
  • Manage reviews to assess the service delivery controls that are in place

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years mortgage industry experience spanning origination, fulfillment, and servicing
  • Minimum 5 years developing and executing quality control compliance programs within mortgage
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree
Professional Skill Requirements
  • Proven ability to produce actionable, measurable, and achievable plans from QC review findings
  • Experience interacting with state and federal mortgage regulators, HUD and GSEs
  • Experience executing compliance remediation projects project management skills, influencing peers and executives on the merits and requirements of Compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, staff, and direct internal control functions
  • Demonstrated ability to develop talent
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Dynamic communication skills, executive presence
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external auditors and regulatory staff
  • Possess technical proficiency to direct and implement innovative tools and control schemes to minimize disruption while maximizing compliance direction and measurement
  • Model high Integrity and Ethics
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
