The Cloud Services Capacity/Cost Engineer will support a government customer.  Qualified candidates will drive the efforts towards managing enterprise and hybrid cloud service capacity. Further, they will demonstrate the ability to appropriately serve and provision cloud capacity in a manner meeting client, and their customers generated demand. Whereby, meeting service Capacity is defined as providing capacity with minimal deviation from planned costs, risks, and service levels without unjustifiably constraining their mission and business activities.  Work with the customer to identify patterns of business activity in order to understand the levels of demand that will be placed on a service (as provided by our client). Understand the differences between user profiles (different groups of users and LOBs within clients customers) in order to understand/align service provider business with these customers.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must possess either a Master’s Degree + 8 years’ experience / a Bachelor’s Degree + 10 years’ experience / or an Associates Degree + 12 years’ experience / or 14 years' experience with no degree
  • Must possess 3 years Cloud/AWS infrastructure experience
  • 2 years administering Capacity Management tools and models or similar complex modeling
  • 2 years leading internal team reviews of related work products 
  • 2 years driving business processes and procedures 
  • 2 years experience with the Capacity Management process

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
