Job Description

Security and Risk professionals develop and deliver solutions that protect enterprise systems, applications and data by establishing policies, practices and tools that prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification or disruption.  Infrastructure Security professionals develop and deliver infrastructure security solutions -- including policies and standards, procedures, tools and technologies -- to ensure that data stored in or transmitted via enterprise networks cannot be read or compromised by individuals without proper authorization, while still allowing authorized users to complete legitimate tasks.  A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. 
Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.  Uses considerable judgment to determine solutions and seeks guidance on complex problems. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor and project leads. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. Decisions often impact the team in which they reside. Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Job Description:
Infrastructure Security professionals develop and deliver infrastructure security solutions -- including policies and standards, procedures, tools and technologies -- to ensure that data stored in or transmitted via enterprise networks and systems cannot be read or compromised by individuals without proper authorization, while still allowing authorized users to complete legitimate tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

May include responsibilities for assisting clients with determining network security controls and architectural components including:

  • Securing implementation and integration of corporate WAN, LAN and server architectures serviced by the organization’s networks
  • Implementation of network security hardware and software
  • Perform analysis of security logs and events, document threat analysis reports
  • Create custom security policies and application signatures
  • Assist in identification and remediation of web based threats
  • Assess and/or maintain firewall infrastructure and code upgrades
  • Perform analysis of network and cloud security needs that contribute to design, integration, and installation of hardware and software
  • Analysis, troubleshooting, and ability to develop and implement solutions to solve network problems

Manages teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

 
 
Basic Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network security design and operations specific to DMZ/perimeter, network segmentation, endpoint protection, cloud perimeter security, and network administration
  • Minimum 3 years strong working technical knowledge of network security controls relating to IPS systems, SIEM, internet monitoring, vulnerability management, and firewall technologies
  • Ability to assess the current state of existing network security deployments. Document and articulate gaps and improvement points, both written and verbally
  • Strong knowledge of Internet protocols
  • 80% travel required
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • 3 years of corporate datacenter, perimeter firewall, or endpoint security design and deployment - both green field and legacy experience
  • Firewall automation or orchestration experience with one or more technologies (Panorama, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
  • SIEM tool and use case integration with platforms such as: Splunk, QRadar, and Arcsight
  • Significant understanding or deployment experience with one or more next-generation firewall design and deployment of advanced features – application, user, and encryption aware
  • Familiarity with firewall reporting and automation partner tools such as Algosec or Tufin
  • Familiarity with endpoint protection solutions such as Cylance, Crowdstrike, and Symantec Endpoint Protection
  • Good understanding of routing and switching technologies and protocols
  • 3 years Network packet capture and interpretation experience
  • Cisco CCNP/CCSP or Palo Alto PCNSE Certification preferred
  • CISSP Certification preferred
  • Comfort with authoring network diagrams and schematics in Visio or Omnigraffle
  • IT/OT Industrial Security Security experience desired

  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Able to meet requirements for retaining professional security certifications
  • Ability to successfully pass a client background screening
