As an Accenture Scientific Informatics Manager you will be exposed to the technologies and processes that many leading US companies and government agencies utilize. We offer a generous compensation package consisting of salary, bonuses and benefits.

Under no direct supervision:

 

  • Manage exceptional teams delivering complex scientific informatics projects in support of our clients' scientific missions
  • Perform management consulting for clients by offering best practices and approaches to large and complex scientific informatics and data management programs
  • Steer organizational change management efforts to drive adoption of new processes and technologies across complex enterprises
  • Deliver outstanding "raving fan" service to our clients
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships that grow partnerships with key strategic accounts
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and 
  • Act as a coach and mentor to LabAnswer teammates
  • Oversee project solutions and deliverables to ensure quality and consistency

Minimum Qualifications:

·         4 Year degree in an applicable scientific field such as chemistry or biology, or a technology science (CS, MIS, etc)

·         6 Years of experience leading medium to large system implementations in scientific organizations

·         Proven track record delivering project scope on-time, on-budget and to the quality requirements set forth

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Excellent leadership and organizational skills

·         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

·         Strong experience developing strategies for process re-engineering, software selection, and project planning and execution

·         PMP certification from PMI or equivalent certification or depth of experience


Desired Qualifications:

·         Experience working in the government sector as either an employee or contractor

·         Experience implementing commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software 

·         Experience working with commercial software vendors

·         3+ years of consulting experience
