Key Responsibilities
 
While most people have no idea what you do or how you do it, you know exactly what it takes to collaborate, ideate and provide technical guidance to help bring your clients’ brands to life.  And they rely heavily on your skills and expertise as you translate the creative vision into technical implementations and integrate with back end technologies.  If you are passionate about developing rich interactive digital solutions that move a brand forward, we’d like to meet you.
Basic Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s a plus) in Computer Science / Marketing / Advertising / Interactive Design / Graphic Design or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working at an advertising, design, consulting agency, web startup, or equivalent education/professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with:
    • HTML/5 and CSS/3, JavaScript, jQuery
    • Adobe Creative Suite
    • Consumption of RESTful web APIs or web services
    • Responsive Design, grid frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.), and developing on multi-platform/multi-browser compatibility (IE 8+, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari) on Mac, PC, tablets and mobile devices
    • Modern web application frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Express, Node.js)
Preferred Skills: 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with:
  • Responsive Design methodologies and techniques
  • CSS Preprocessors (LESS or SASS)
  • JavaScript task runners (Grunt or Gulp)
  • JavaScript linting & unit testing (Jasmine, Mocha + Chai or Karma, etc.)
  • Template engines (Jade, Handlebars, or Lo-Dash)
  • Version control (GIT, TFS)
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum process
  • Experience in creating project estimates, defining scope requirements, and structuring projects
  • Ability to solve complex development problems and produce the highest quality code while striving to push the technical boundaries of online applications
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy while adhering to W3C and accessibility guidelines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced production deadline-driven environment both internal and client facing
