Job Description:

 

The Payments Compliance Analyst:

·         Reviews certain types of compliance screens such as sanctions screening and know your customer screening as well as potentially reviews and monitors transactions/activities to determine whether potential suspicious activity exists

·         Analyzes customer relationships, documentation, activity patterns and transactions to detect potential suspicious activity through the monitoring systems to identify potential regulatory or terms of service violations by customer

o    Specifically when items have been identified to potentially be outside of expected norms, escalates cases requiring further investigation to management

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR High school diploma/GED and minimum of 6 months professional experience in compliance, fraud or risk analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in finance

Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Superior analytical and investigative skills combined with ability to navigate through ambiguity in a fast pace, dynamic environment

  • Willingness to learn new process

  • Results driven and detail oriented

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills in a professional setting (either military or civilian)

  • Willingness to work with sensitive, adult and controversial content

  • Solid Microsoft Office, internet and computer skills
