The Oracle EBS Development Specialist supports Oracle E-Business Suite (HRMS, Financials, Supply Chain and CRM) modules by implementing, solving break/fix issues, or by providing design, development, and support knowledge of RICEW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
  • Design medium- to high-complexity technical solutions from a functional design specification
  • Develop and adapt technical solutions/options into detailed technical design documents, complete with pseudo-code where appropriate, ensuring all functional requirements are met in the technical design
  • Ensure that all development standards are taken into consideration in the functional and technical design/solution phase
  • Review technical designs with technical team, functional team and performance team (where appropriate) to ensure that solution is modular and has the appropriate level of scalability

Basic Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizen
  • 1 year of development experience working in Oracle 11i or R12 EBS
  • 1 year of design experience and development experience with PL/SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Experience in testing applications- confirming that all functional and technical requirements are validated
  • Experience in support and/or design and build of solution to include Oracle Custom applications and/or  Oracle Enterprise Business Suite application in any or all of the following Modules: Financials, Payroll, HRMS, Manufacturing, SCM, CRM, Procurement, Inventory, Order Management)
  • Development experience and or/Understanding required in Oracle E-Business development tools:
    • PL/SQL
    • Oracle BPEL
    • XML Publisher
    • Oracle Reports or Forms
    • SOA (BPEL, OWB)
    • UNIX Shell Scripting
    • Application Development Framework (ADF)
    • Oracle Workflow
    • Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
    • Oracle Database - 10g, 11g 12c 


An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
