We are seeking an individual with a passion for data, innovation, risk management and a background in leveraging technology to solve complex business problems.  Accenture is breaking new ground on an innovative Financial Crimes Analytics Utility to support our community of financial services clients collaborate across non-competitive functions, reduce the cost of compliance and develop proactive relationships with regulators.  Our Utility leverages our unique Accenture Insights Platform (deployed in partnership with Amazon-AWS) with an integrated stack of leading big data technology applications providing the horsepower necessary to drive innovation across this market segment. 
The Accenture Analytics Utility helps financial services firms focus challenges of increasing profitability, reducing operational complexity, managing regulations and protecting national security.  Accenture draws on its end-to-end transformation capabilities, as well as core strengths in management consulting, technology, analytics and data science to help firms identify new opportunities to create a sustainable competitive advantage.
The incumbent will have a natural interest and experience in the prevention and detection of risk behaviors and financial crimes as well as the impact the evolving landscape has on our client’s business, processes and systems.  The candidate will also have excellent knowledge of how banks and other financial services firms perform risk management and financial crimes functions. Candidates should also be successful in working on client delivery projects and have leadership and stakeholder engagement skills that can be used immediately on client-facing work.
Key Skills:
  • Deep technical, data, and analytics skills related to AML Transaction Monitoring
  • Data Lake, data mapping, data integration experience including creation of data dictionaries
  • Deep functional understanding of AML Transaction Monitoring operational processes
  • Experience in designing and delivering BSA/AML data management and analytics projects
  • Execution of financial crimes data and analytics-oriented projects
  • Deep experience with leading financial crime software platforms and related data models
  • Ability to communicate fluently with both information technology teams as well as the business owners of risk applications
  • Effective communication and presentations skills
  • Ability to test and proactively identify problems with software
  • Knowledge of regulatory obligations associated with independent model risk management
  • Ability to interact with senior management teams and understand key requirements
  • Ability to transform requirements into business intelligence (BI) reporting
  • Experience with visual analytics technologies and BI tools
  • Deep knowledge of institutional core banking platforms and data models
  • Deep knowledge of payment products and associated risks
  • BSA/AML risk management experience

Basic Qualifications
  • Seven (7) years of experience in BSA/AML analytics and related technology in the financial services space
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
Preferred Experience
  • Prior banking BSA/AML operational experience in AML Data Management Analytics is desired and/or prior consulting services experience deploying analytic frameworks/applications for financial institutions
