YOUR ROLE: Strategic Alliances Senior Manager (Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Salesforce Commerce Cloud)

The Strategic Alliances Senior Manager will be part of a team responsible for developing one of Accenture Interactive’s strategic relationship.This role will be specifically focused on Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The Senior Manager will be responsible for building and leading a collaborative strategic alliance partnership that creates value for the benefit of our clients, our practice, and our team members.
 
 Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage business plans with partner and Accenture Interactive stakeholders and drive accountability
  • Develop collaborative internal working models with cross-functional alliance teams within Accenture  
  • Support the pre-sales activities related to go-to-market campaigns
  • Organize and facilitate in-field sales joint account planning & mapping to drive digital services growth
  • Participate and help coordinate key resources on shared partner pursuits
  • Help improve Accenture's win rate as a result of increased skills and capabilities developed on vendor technologies
  • Joint Pipeline Management - Conduct regular reviews of joint pipelines: Driving appropriate opportunity qualification and prioritization.  
  • Run weekly, bi-weekly and monthly calls/meetings with partner organizations to drive pipeline and other key alliance initiatives
  • Report results to key internal stakeholders including Practice/Offerings, and Go-to-Market/Sales, and executive leadership
  • Develop collaborative internal working models with cross-functional alliance teams within Accenture
  • Participate in planning and attendance of key field marketing/technology partner events
  • Investment Management - Collaborate with cross functional Accenture and Salesforce teams to develop marketing budget and allocation plan to drive partnership growth
  • Manage a support team to scale alliance model over time

 Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 5+ years digital marketing strategic alliance program management experience, supporting and measuring field sales and marketing impact across multiple strategic partnerships OR equivalent time in a sales role selling software/digital services in a highly partner-oriented environment
  • Successful track record navigating and developing collaborative partnerships within a highly matrixed organization and alliance team
 Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing high growth partnerships between large software companies and service providers (Agencies and/or System Integrators) within the digital space
  • 3+ years working with or for Salesforce and demonstrated strengths of relationships and navigation within the digital Salesforce organization
  • Strong Channel Partner Experience with both Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget, Radian 6).
  • Excellent understanding of software industry sales processes, reporting and management structures
  • Excellent understanding of the marketing and commerce services business
  • 3+ years leveraging alliance channel to sell software and/or marketing services  
WHERE YOU LIVE: Within 90 minutes of a major Accenture Office preferably in the Midwest or Southeast regions such as Chicago, Boston or Atlanta. Other Major Accenture offices may be considered.
