Job Description
 
The digital revolution in audit is changing the game.  The Analytics Specialist will be part of the Accenture Internal Audit Analytics team.  You’ll play a critical role in helping our top leadership tackle complex business issues, identify opportunities for cost savings across the globe, and look for opportunities to reduce risk.  Analytics in Internal Audit follows multiple approaches for project execution from adapting existing assets to use cases, creating custom deliverables to meet the objectives of key stakeholders, and bringing conceptual ideas to life.  Join us and become an integral part of delivering valuable insights to the organization and be an agent for change.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 3 years of Predictive Modeling and Analytics and Predictive Analytics Decision Mgmt
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in one or more of Big Data Analytics or Data Analytics and Interpretation or Enterprise Analytics or Data Visualization

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Ability to leverage data to drive business insights and generate significant business value
  • Create models and processes to collect, distill and interpret data with a view to aid better, more informed decision making
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with the English language
  • Experience in tools including (but not limited to) ACL, IDEA, R, SAS, SQL Server, etc. 
  • Support the design of predictive model implementation in an audit & risk assessment setting
  • Design, develop and deploy state-of-the-art, data-driven predictive/descriptive models to solve business problems using the latest and most appropriate technologies in statistical modeling and machine learning
  • Create new insights from predictive statistical modeling activities that target and deliver value to our clients
  • Examine and explore data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of discovering insights which in turn can provide competitive advantage for our clients

Professional Skills:

  • Ability to think creatively to solve real world business problems
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
