The Federal Accounting Associate Manager will serve as a member of a large project team supporting the client's financial improvement and audit readiness goals through a variety of work streams. The team member must possess a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and best practices. They will provide guidance on finance business processes, and all controls, and financial management systems, in support of the client's efforts to produce auditable financial statements.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in one of more of the following capabilities: federal accounting and/or auditing, federal financial statement audits, audit/internal controls testing
  • 1 year of experience in delivering executive briefings/presentations
  • 3 years of experience in a managerial capacity
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems or a related field
Preferred Skills:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or eligible, CISA, CDFM, CGFM, CFA, CFE, and/or CIA strongly preferred
  • Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) experience
  • High-Profile audit experience
  • Desire to perform in a fast-paced role
  • Interest/experience in Business Modeling

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
