Responsibilities:

Software Engineering Associate Manager (Multiple Positions) (Accenture LLP; Chicago, IL): Analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications for Accenture or our clients. Analyze and solve moderately complex problems. Design and code applications to functional and technical programming standards. Develop system specifications and interfaces for moderately complex components. Create operational documentation for the application. Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production. Maintain applications according to SLAs. Develop and implement testing plans. Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll-outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications. Understand strategic direction set by senior management and implement methods and procedures set by management. Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.

Skills/Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry. Of the required experience:
  • 4 years of experience must be in each of the following: Supporting and developing solutions in heavy equipment dealer management systems; and, parts order management; and,
  • 3 years of experience must be in each of the following: Cobol and AS400; Inventory Management processes, including surplus, returns, and emergency order processes; working with web services and integration between local equipment dealer management systems and OEM corporate management systems; designing and reviewing new solutions for the dealer management systems and performing user acceptance testing for the systems; working closely with the client as well as the global development team; executing training for the client; and, providing Root Cause Troubleshooting for incidents related to the dealer management systems.
  • Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
