The IT Customer Support Analyst is responsible for the monitoring of operational activities of all cells within the Enterprise Service Center (ESC) to maintaining centralized situational awareness of the overall health of IT services. Communicates the status of operational activities to the Government Duty Officers (GDO). Brief leadership on the status of the enterprise as well as any enterprise risks and/or issues, including impacts and corrective actions being taken. Recommend appropriate mitigation activities to minimize down time, minimize mission impact and restore services as soon as possible. Assist the GDO in assessing the impact of events and incidents on mission capability, prioritizing service restoration activities, and providing final assessment of mission impacts prior to conducting authorized outages. Coordinate with any impacted mission partners during unscheduled outages to advise of outage status, remediation actions, and projected restoral times. Manage, maintain, and update an electronic dashboard and scorecard capable of providing real-time, near-real-time, snap-shot, and historical reporting of IT service performance and progress information related to mission success requirements and IT service level achievement objectives. Upon Government request, build reports and conduct trend analysis on service performance for monitored assets.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business or other related field, OR at least 4 years of recent experience in help desk or IT support.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Must have one of the following certifications (or be able to obtain within 6 months of start date): CAP, GSLC, Security+ CE.
  • Must be willing to work rotating schedules to include weekend and overnight work

Preferred Qualifications:


Hands on recent use and knowledge of specific products and related technologies:

  • Exposure to analysis experience.
  • Experience or understanding of IT systems infrastructure and applications.
  • Experience with BMC Remedy, Oracle Siebel, or other IT Service Management tool.

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
