The responsibilities of the Human Capital Consultant include:
  • Use proprietary Accenture tools to diagnose HR and Talent Management gaps/needs, specifically in the areas of HR operating models, processes and supporting technologies
  • Estimate and develop timelines and strategies for implementing improvement opportunities/recommendations
  • Perform an economic analysis to determine HR costs and efficiencies
  • Design HR processes and/or service delivery models, using our Accenture leading practices, with an emphasis on HR Shared Services and enabling technology 
  • Plan and manage effort to define and implement to-be HR organization processes, capabilities, application of key technologies, and performance measurements/KPIs
  • Understand and contribute to HR and Talent Management leading practices
  • Guide teams through problem definition, issue identification and workplan development using problem solving principles and past experience
  • Monitor achievement of strategic, financial and operational benefits, ensuring planned business outcomes are achieved
  • Develop and manage project budgets
  • Create and present content for executive presentations

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years of experience re-designing HR processes
  • 2 years of project management experience
  • 2 years of consulting experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience defining HR strategy, developing HR process requirements, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
  • Experience designing competencies for HR Business Partners, HR Shared Services and Centers of Expertise
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments/projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications competencies
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment


An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
