Software Engineering professionals work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications for Accenture or our clients.


Job Description


A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities: Provides

solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations

requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Involved in assisting with the

strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility. Occasionally Interacts

with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or

influencing on significant matters. Has some latitude in decision-making and determining

objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Decisions have a lasting impact on area of

responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility. Manages small teams

and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.


This position entails a technical background in modernization of applications. As companies

migrate off of legacy systems, it is imperative for this individual to understand how a company is

technically positioned and how to position that company for the future through application

modernization and cloud migration. Should have the ability to present effectively to C-Suite and

Senior/Mid Level Director audiences.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 plus Years of experience having done modernization work (Re-Hosting, Re-Platforming, Service Enablement, or Re-Facing) at large corporations.

  • 6 plus years of experience with mainframe, Java, or .Net technologies

  • 2 plus years of cloud migration experience

  • Must be available to travel up to 100%
